Total Fitness DVDs is “your total source for fitness and wellness media.” They are always on the lookout for the best products and the lowest prices to save money for their costumers. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience looking through their site. They have such a large inventory of fitness DVDs, including children’s workouts and fitness equipment. Anybody searching for a home workout is sure to find a workout DVD to their liking and for a great price. They even include a video clip of the workout along with the description on their site, which really helped me in my selection process.
With winter coming, I will be relying on some of my home workout videos/dvds to help keep me in shape while I am stuck in doors. But what about my kids? They are not always willing to go tromping through the snow and they need to get their wiggles out, too. I have no worries any more! Total Fitness DVDs sent me Scott Cole’s, Get Fit America (For Kids!) and my children L.O.V.E. it. This is a workout just for them. Scott Cole does a great job of simplifying Yoga and Martial Arts moves and makes it fun for the kids. They are working out and they do not even know it! In fact, my kids tell me to stop doing the workout with them because “this is our workout, Mom. You watch us.” They love watching the other kids on the DVD and learning how to move their bodies. And I do not know if this is a side affect of doing yoga and the martial arts, but I swear they are calmer afterwards! It may just be me. =) I love watching them learn how to move their bodies and gain more control over their movements. With this new DVD I do not think I will have a problem encouraging my children working out more often!

Fitness Level: For All Kids Grades K – 6th (although, my 4 yr old is fine with it.)
Welcome to a fun new world of health and fitness – Scott Cole’s Get Fit America for Kids challenges young minds and bodies through thought-provoking analogies, non-violent martial arts like Tai Chi, nature-related games, partnered trust-building exercises, Yoga balance moves, inclusive group interaction, and an adaptable array of physical activity – including cardio, conditioning, and flexibility exercises.
WORDS FROM SCOTT…It is no secret that the levels of diabetes, depression, obesity, and many eating disorders among America’s youth are at an all-time high. Our kids’ definition of play often involves sitting in front of a computer, TV, or video game eating junk food – and proper nutrition and adequate recess time in schools has been severely decreased.
All things considered, it is no wonder that we need to find a way to make our kids feel more welcome, inspired, hopeful and important. The goal of my program is to bring fitness and wellness to America’s youth in a way that has never been done before, sparking their interests, inspiring them to make a lifetime of healthy choices.
