Mia Mariu Mineral Cosmetics {Review & Giveaway}

I am a pretty simple girl when it comes to makeup. I want something makes me look good and I want it to be an easy process to apply. I recently had the opportunity to try out some makeup from Mia Mariu Mineral Cosmetics. I specifically tried the Mineral Eye Shadow Duo in Rosa Marquesa, the Perfecting Finish Mineral Loose Powder Foundation in the shade Marfil and the suggested Perfect Blending Brush No. 22 to accompany the powder.

I have extremely sensitive skin and usually get headaches when I use foundations or even just powders. I have only found a couple powders that have not given me a headache and now I can add the Mia Mariu Perfecting Finish Mineral Loose Powder Foundation to the list. With using the Perfect Blending Brush to powder blended easily and added a soft finish to my face. I was impressed with how a little went a long way and how it was so light that I did not feel like I was even wearing any powder.

I love eye shadows that  come with 2 or 3 coordinating shades and this Duo worked out perfect. In fact, the hardest part for me for this review was deciding on what colors to get for the Eye Shadow Duo.I have tried eye shadows before only to have all the powder on my eye end up in one big crease after a couple of hours. Not only is this annoying, but embarrassing too. With this Mineral Eye Shadow Duo, I discovered my eye shadow stays in place all day long. The set comes with a little applicator brush which made the powder application a lot thicker/darker than I wanted. If I used my eye brush similar to their Mulitpurpose Eye Color Brush, I got the look I wanted. And just like the foundation powder, little goes a long way, which I love.

I know some people love to make their makeup routine an art, but I simply do not have time to do that. I am at that phase in my life with a new baby where I am lucky if I remember to brush my teeth before lunch! What I loved the most about this review, is that my makeup routine is now down to a few minutes and a few simple steps. Just to show you, here is a before and after using the Mia Mariu makeup (I added my own eyeliner and mascara). Oops! I accidentally erased my before picture.
