Father’s Day Tie Complete

Here is the final product for our Father’s Day Tie (check out the Father’s Day Tie tutorial).  The total cost to make the tie, including the cost of the tie and printing it = $14.50. I paid another $3 because my printer ran out of ink, so I emailed them the file and they printed it there for an extra cost. I think their ink looked better than my printer’s so it was fair!

The first time I made it (5 years ago) I did 1″ squares. This year I did .75″ squares and I think it looks better with smaller squares.

He has already worn the tie to church and work and we are only a couple days past Father’s Day. He really likes it, which makes it even more fun and that is all that matters, right?!
