For my daughter’s 3rd birthday, we made all the party guests a “Princess” crown before they left. We made them all out of pipe cleaners, so they were very inexpensive to put together. All we needed was to use our imagination and get creative! This particular crown took 5-6 pipe cleaners to make 3-4 for the base and 2 for the pink “spikes”. The girls absolutely loved them and no harm done if they squished or stepped on them minutes later!
This particular crown took 5-6 pipe cleaners to make 3-4 for the base and 2 for the pink “spikes”. We created the shape of the base first out of purple, added the pink and then wrapped the blue around the purple once we had the pink where we wanted it. This project was inspired by Creative Jewish Mom’s Pipe Cleaner Birthday Crowns For The Whole Crowd! She has a slightly different design or two and a more detailed tutorial, if needed.
Gotta love those simple crafts that are loved so much!
