Looking at this cover of A Mile In His Shoes from Vivendi Entertainment and just seeing the names of the actors, Dean Cain and Luke Schroder, and the director, William Dear (Angels in the Outfield), was enough to make me want to watch it. Let me tell you, I was not disappointed!
This is a great family movie about a losing minor league baseball team and a coach who saw potential in a young farmer with an incredible arm and Asperger’s syndrome, a form of autism. It shows how a team learns to deal with differences and how a disability does not have to keep anyone from succeeding. The movie is all family friendly…clean language, decent clothing and there was even a “party scene” that was the cleanest I’ve ever seen (no alcohol, nothing inappropriate) but did the job. Just watch the trailer and you will want to see the movie, too. (If you can’t see the video below, click here)
I love these inspirational films and I recommend this to anyone looking for a good family film! It comes out on DVD on Jan. 10th.

A movie that inspires me is The Bucket List. I know that’s a weird choice, but it reminds me to make the most of each day and to not be afraid to try new things.
