Favorites From Last Week…

Here are a few of the top favorites from the past couple of weeks! (I promise I am going to do better with my round ups!) How do you feel about me high lighting them on facebook instead?

Naptime Creations had some fun making an Anthro inspired shower curtain.

Life on Walnut Street made a $7 DIY Wreath for some of her Fall decor.

Amy did let her son do some pumpkin painting! She discovered mini pumpkins + paint = 1 happy kiddo!

Halloween must be in the air because Mommy Said So’s Pumpkin Totem Pole was very popular.

Check out what Alderberry Hill made out of some scrap wood. This Halloween Sign Post is pretty cute!

Thanks for sharing your Hi-5 Moments with me! Come back each Friday!

Hi-5 Friday 9/23

Extra, Extra!

We Have Added a New Fun Feature For You!

Look over to the left. Do you see the small “Rewards” banner sticking out there? Click on it because it wants to help you get rewarded for visiting this site! You do not have to do anything other than register (I believe with just your facebook account) and it will give you 100 points every day you stop by Fun On A Dime, for each comment left or link shared via facebook. These points can be redeemed for gift cards and other prizes. Crazy, right? Seems too simple? Well, it is! The points are that easy to earn and as long as you are logged into your FB account, it will keep track for you up to 500 points a day.

Can I get a Hi-5?!

I have to do better about highlighting my own Hi-5 moments, too! So here we go….

My Hi-5 Moment for the week is that I was consistent. I think I have my groove back with the site and I have been able to post 5 days a week. I actually set a calendar with posts and have been able to stick to it! That’s big for me! I also set up the newsletters again, right now they are daily, but I hope to eventually make them a weekly email instead of daily. I also set up this new feature on the left side of the page to help readers earn some giftcards just for stopping by. Next week I hope for my Hi-5 Moment to be something a little more spectacular or at least with a good picture =-), but I’m really excited for what I have been able to accomplish these past few weeks!

What is your Hi-5 moment? Did you make it to the library OR grocery shopping in less than an hour OR make something cute OR have an Aha! moment? Come share it each Friday at the Hi-5 Friday link party!

Ways to Participate:

  • Leave a link or comment on the post
  • Via Facebook: Leave a comment or share a picture under the Hi-5 Friday announcement on fb.
  • Send me an email with the picture and info you would like me to add. (private or no blogs are welcome to particpate)
